Selling your business

A Step by Step Guide:

1.Initial Information:

At the initial stage we will arrange for one of our experienced directors to meet with you and establish your requirements. This will offer you guidance and clarity on the options you have available.

2. Conducting a Valuation:

Adison International is experienced and highly respected in conducting accurate valuations.

We will take many factors into consideration when conducting a valuation; such as your financials, brand name, market penetration, on-going contracts, location, and market sector trends.

It is our philosophy to provide our clients with a realistic valuation, whilst ensuring we achieve the best possible price for their business.

3. A Marketing Plan:

Once we have established an agreed price to sell your business at, we will begin our targeted marketing campaign.

We will establish an individual marketing plan for each business we represent. This ensures a thorough and effective approach.

We advertise frequently in the Business Papers, Industry Publications etc. We also directly approach appropriate contacts from our extensive database and other targeted marketing solutions to reach the right buyers for your business.

4. The Negotiations

Organisations and Individuals interested in your business will be required to sign a Confidentiality Agreement before they view any details. Prior to any interested parties receiving confidential documents (such as accounts) and prior to us arranging any meeting we will carry out our own research and investigation into that organisation.

Adison International will support you at every stage during the negotiation process, preparing you for meetings and liaising between both parties.

5. The Sale

Once terms and a price have been agreed in principle we will advise and support you whilst the purchaser conducts due-diligence, and during the pre-contract period.
